RESUMO

É proibido ser gorda. Não se envelhece mais. A beleza se constrói. Como um dos maiores jornais brasileiros do século XX contribuiu para a educação do corpo feminino. Pelas páginas do Correio da Manhã, as mulheres encontraram, recorrentemente, duas prescrições: antipeso e antienvelhecimento.

ABSTRACT

Women are not allowed to be fat. There is no more aging. Beauty is built. The way one of the greatest Brazilian newspapers of the twentieth century contributed to the education of the female body. In the pages of the newspaper Correio da Manhãwomen have, repeatedly, found two prescriptions: anti-weight gain and anti-aging.

Este artigo discute o lugar da mulher nas revistas ilustradas em Curitiba no início do século XX. Observa as principais formas pelas quais a mulher foi representada nas revistas, e pondera sobre os limites da atuação da mulher como produtora de textos e imagens para esses periódicos.

This paper examines the role of women in illustrated magazines of Curitiba city in early twentieth century. In this way, it analyses the main ways of women’s depiction in the magazines, and discusses the boundaries of women’s activities as magazine writers and illustrators.

Disciplinar o corpo e apurar a raça

Utilizando a concetualização de disciplinamento social, o texto tem como objetivo perceber como se sensibilizam as mulheres para a prática do exercício físico, nas páginas da revista Fémina, ao longo da década de 1930. Procurando captá-las através de um discurso que apelou à vaidade, em muitos artigos o que esteve em causa foi a obtenção de um corpo saudável com vista a gerar crianças robustas, de acordo com os ideais políticos da época.

ABSTRACT

Using the conception of social discipline, the text aims to understand how women are sensitized to the practice of physical exercise, in the pages of Fémina magazine, throughout the decade of 1930. Looking to capture them through a speech that appealed to vanity, in many articles, what was at stake was the attainment of a healthy body in order to generate robust children, according to the political ideals of the time.

“O que nós queremos que nossas raparigas sejam”

Nesse trabalho analisaremos a revista Mocidade Portuguesa Feminina: boletim mensal, que circulou em Portugal entre os anos de 1939 a 1947, período marcado pelo salazarismo. Assim, discutiremos as características desse periódico, o modelo de mulher por ele propagado e o papel social que as filiadas da Mocidade Portuguesa Feminina deveriam desempenhar.

Falas entrecruzadas, o viés feminista na produção midiática de Clarice Lispector

O artigo analisa a produção acadêmica de Clarice Lispector publicada na revista A Época de 1941, bem como as narrativas que compõem a página “Entre Mulheres”, do tabloide Comício de 1952. É possível reconhecer nesses textos a preocupação da escritora com os papéis femininos e a influência de Simone de Beauvoir em seu pensamento, ao divulgar, de forma velada, trechos que traduz de Le Deuxième Sexe.

ABSTRACT

The article analyzes the academic production of Clarice Lispector published in the magazine A Época of 1941, as well as the narratives that compose the page "Entre Mulheres", of the tabloid Comício of 1952. It is possible to recognize in these texts the concern of the writer with the feminine roles and the influence of Simone de Beauvoir in her thought, by disseminating, in a veiling way, excerpts that translates from Le Deuxième Sexe.

Homem ideal em revista no Jornal das Moças (anos 1950)

Cada período constrói estereótipos e seus próprios meios e regramentos que podem ser veiculados de diversas formas, os periódicos podem ser importantes maneiras de divulgar esses padrões, incutir ensinamentos, moldar categorias. Dessa forma é que o presente artigo pretende conhecer modelos que corresponderiam ao desejado “homem ideal”, o tão almejado “bom para casar”, que garantiria uma vida familiar segura e digna. Para tanto, constituem fontes dessa pesquisa a revista Jornal das Moças ao longo dos anos 1950, um periódico quinzenal que dirigido às mulheres das classes médias das cidades brasileiras aconselharam suas leitoras a buscarem idealizações de si mesmas e que em sua íntima procura e responsabilidade seriam capazes de encontrar seus pares que revelariam qualidades a elas complementares correspondentes ao companheiro “ideal”.

ABSTRACT

Each period builds stereotypes and its own means and regulations that can be conveyed in different ways, journals can be important ways to disseminate these standards, instill teachings, shape categories. In this way, the present article intends to know models that would correspond to the desired "ideal man", the longed for "good to marry", that would guarantee a safe and dignified family life. Therefore, the sources of this research is the “Jornal das Moças” during the 1950s, a biweekly magazine aimed at middle-class women in Brazilian cities that advised their readers to seek idealizations of themselves and that in their intimate search and responsibility they would be able to find their peers who would reveal complementary qualities corresponding to their "ideal" companion.

Revista Claudia: a discursivização da mulher e do casamento durante a segunda metade do século xx

Trazemos uma reflexão sobre como a imprensa feminina brasileira contribuiu para a homogeneização de sentidos sobre o feminino e sobre o casamento, durante o século XX, com destaque para as respostas dadas por Carmen da Silva às cartas enviadas ao “consultório sentimental” da revista feminina Claudia.

ABSTRACT

We bring a reflection on how the Brazilian women's press contributed to the homogenization of meanings over the feminine as well marriage during the twentieth century, especially the answers given by Carmen da Silva to the letters sent to the "sentimental consulting room" of the women's magazine Claudia.

A sedução da Psicanálise nas páginas das Revistas Femininas Cláudia e Nova de 1970-1990

O presente trabalho visa captar os processos psicológicos subjetivos do movimento de modernização, a partir de uma pesquisa em artigos recolhidos nas Revistas Cláudia e Nova, entre as décadas de 1970-1990, tendo em vista as transformações ocorridas quanto aos valores ético-morais, nessa fase de grandes mudanças sociais. Trata-se de perceber como os discursos das Psicologias e da Psicanálise entram no campo constituído pela mídia, especificamente direcionados para orientar o comportamento feminino, erigindo-se como guia norteador na resolução dos conflitos pessoais e sexuais e da crise da identidade feminina.

ABSTRACT

The presente work aims at capturing the subjective psychological processes of the modernization movement, based on a research on articles collected in the Cláudia and Nova Magazines between the 1970s and 1990s, in view of the transformations that have occurred regarding ethical and moral values social change. It is a question of perceiving how the discourses of Psychology and Psychoanalysis enter into the field constituted by the media, specifically directed to orient the female behavior, erecting itself as guiding guide in the resolution of the personal and sexual conflicts and the crisis of the feminine identity.

A fabricação da maternidade pela grande mídia

Este artigo analisa a veiculação da maternidade de celebridades em capas de revista com base na Análise do Discurso francesa. Ao dialogar com a temática da sociedade do espetáculo e da fabricação dos corpos pelo discurso, a pesquisa considera que há um lugar para o sujeito-mãe-celebridade pela via da espetacularização e da maternidade como produto.

This article examines the placement of celebrity maternity magazine covers based on the French Discourse Analysis. When discussing the theme of the society of the show and the making of the bodies by the discourse, the research considers that there is a place for the subject-mother-celebrity through spectacularization and maternity as a product.

A luta das mulheres pela educação diante de questões que envolvem o mundo do trabalho, classe, etnia e gênero

O trabalho busca contribuir com o debate sobre a temática da luta das mulheres pelo direito à educação, evidenciando interações que envolvem Classe e Gênero. Trata-se de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental e, conclui que a luta das mulheres é a luta contra o capitalismo, o racismo, a precarização do trabalho e outras formas de discriminação.

Serviço Social com perspectiva feminista

O presente artigo objetiva refletir sobre a produção do conhecimento em Serviço Social e sua inter-relação com os Estudos Feministas, com o propósito de contribuir para a construção de novas cartografias de saberes. Amparado na Epistemologia Feminista, o texto busca desvendar as fissuras que avançam no campo do conhecimento, num período de profundas e aceleradas transformações, no sentido de contribuir com propostas teóricas a partir de uma renovada ênfase nas fronteiras interseccionais, transversais, interdisciplinares entre as categorias gênero, raça/etnia, sexualidade, classe, geração entre outras. O percurso argumentativo acompanhará uma sequência de reflexões realizadas ao longo de anos de experiência, tanto na prática acadêmica, como nos trabalhos de campo realizados através de Projetos de Pesquisa e Extensão, mais especificamente, com mulheres atendidas pelas Instituições que possuem em seus quadros profissionais de Serviço Social, mulheres em situação de violência e assessoria em Conselhos de Direitos Municipal e Estadual de Políticas para Mulheres.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to reflect on the production of knowledge in Social Work and its interrelationship with Feminist Studies, with the purpose of contributing to the construction of new cartographies of knowledge. Based on Feminist Epistemology, the text seeks to unravel as fissures that advance in the field of knowledge, in a period of profound and accelerated transformations, in the sense of contributing with theoretical proposals from a renewed emphasis on intersectional, transversal, interdisciplinary boundaries between as gender categories, race / ethnicity, sexuality, class, generation, among others. The argumentative course will follow a series of reflections carried out over years of experience, both in academic practice and in the fieldwork carried out through Research and Extension Projects, more specifically, with women attended by the Institutions they have in their professional settings of Social Service, women in situations of violence and evaluation in Councils of Municipal and State Rights of Policies for Women.

Políticas Públicas voltadas para a população LGBT

Introdução: Apesar da conquista ao acesso de saúde em nosso país através da Constituição Federal de 1988, onde ressalta que saúde é direito de todos e dever do estado, os homossexuais, na maioria das vezes, ainda são tratados de forma indevida nas instituições de públicas, também nos serviços de saúde. Materiais e Métodos: O presente estudo traz uma parte da dissertação de mestrado “Comportamentos vulneráveis para ist e hiv/aids, uso de drogas e violência no trabalho entre travestis profissionais do sexo”, este trabalho abordará as construções de políticas publicas voltadas a comunidade LGBT e suas fragilidades de implementação. Resultados e Discussões: No que tange saúde, a comunidade LGBT hoje em dia têm diversas medidas protetoras relacionadas aos direitos humanos, às discriminações e ao estigma que esta comunidade têm por si só. Porém, mesmo assim podemos ressaltar que diversos são os influenciadores para a negligencia na prática desta proteção e inserção no que tange aos atendimentos à saúde desta minoria Conclusões: O fato de haver lacunas entre o Sistema Único de Saúde e a população LGBT, as quais poderiam ser minimizadas com o trabalho continuo em educação em saúde e com a inserção desta temática na formação dos futuros profissionais. Esse distanciamento necessita ser superado, com o intuito de eliminar entraves, quanto aos preconceitos e juízos de valores em relação ao segmento e reconhecer que assim como todo e qualquer cidadão brasileiro, a população LGBT têm necessidades de saúde variadas e devem receber cuidados humanizados e pautados na integralidade em todos os níveis da atenção.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: : In spite of the conquest of access to health in our country through the Federal Constitution of 1988, which emphasizes that health is the right of everyone and the duty of the state, homosexuals are, in most cases, still treated improperly in public institutions , also in health services. Materials and Methods: The present study features a part of the master dissertation "Vulnerable Behaviors for Ist and HIV / AIDS, Drug Use and Workplace Violence among Sex Transgendered Professionals," this paper will address the constructions of public policies aimed at the LGBT community and their weaknesses in implementation. Results and Discussion: With regard to health, the LGBT community today has several protective measures related to human rights, discrimination and the stigma that this community has on its own. However, we can still point out that several are the influencers for the negligence in the practice of this protection and insertion in the health care of this minority Conclusions: The fact that there are gaps between the Unified Health System and the LGBT population, which could be minimized with the continuous work in health education and with the insertion of this theme in the training of future professionals. This distancing needs to be overcome in order to eliminate barriers to prejudices and value judgments in relation to the segment and to recognize that, like all Brazilian citizens, the LGBT population has different health needs and should receive humanized and standardized care in all levels of attention.

O protagonismo do Grupo de Valorização Negra do Cariri no enfrentamento à violência doméstica e familiar contra a negritude feminina do município de Crato-Ce

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi examinar a participação do Grupo de Valorização Negra do Cariri no combate à violência doméstica contra a mulher negra em Crato, interior do Ceará. Verificou-se que essa associação civil é um modelo de enfrentamento à violência de raça e de gênero, perante a negligência histórico-estatal.

The aim of this research was to examine the participation of Cariri Black Valorization Group in the combat against domestic violence against black women in Crato, interior city of Ceará. O artigo apresenta um estudo das obras Coisas da Vida, Os Barretos, A besta humana e Mãe dolorosa, de Clodoaldo Freitas, com ênfase na análise das personagens femininas. Com isso, busca-se traçar os perfis femininos presentes em tais obras e notar a punição sofrida por aquelas que transgrediram os padrões da sociedade do século XIX.
